Hi Nancy,
Here is the Meatball recipe my mom always used:
1 pound ground beef
2 small eggs or i large egg
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 t. dried parsley flakes
2 slices white bread, moistened with water, but squeesed of liquid and broken in pieces
Mix everything together with your hands. Shape into balls and fry in hot oil until brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels then transfer to a pot with tomatoe sauce. Allow to cook in the tomato sauce and serve with pasta.
Easy Hamburger Recipe
1 pound hamburger meat
1 package of brown gravy
Brown beef in a pan, drain excess fat. Cook until no longer pink and nice and brown. Set aside.
Prepare the package of gravy according to package directions. Return the beef to the stove over low heat. Pour the gravy over the beef, stir well and spoon the beef with gravy over open burger buns. Delicious!
