My husband loathes cottage cheese. Technically lasagana is made with ricotta cheese, not cottage cheese. Any chance of that in Dalian? I just use extra mozzarella cheese, and grated provolone and my family is in lasagana heaven. I just put a thick layer of cheeses on top of the sauce. If you can't find provolone, then just go crazy with mozzarella. Sometimes, I do slip the cottage cheese in tho....I blend it into my sauce. That way he gets the nutritional value without the texture (He's a texture guy;) The idea is a mild cheese to compliment the sauce and for your tastebuds to savor. Good luck on your mission (Keep me posted, okay?).
