COCKTAIL SMOKIES
1 cup brown sugar 3 tbsp. flour 2 tsp. dry mustard 1 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup vinegar 1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce 2 pkgs. (1 lb. each) Little Smokies smoked sausages (or mini hot dogs or cut hot dogs in small pieces or sliced Kielbasa)*
Mix brown sugar, flour and mustard in saucepan. Add juice and remaining ingredients. Cook until slightly thick.
Add franks and cook slowly for 5 minutes. Keep warm in chafing dish or on low setting in a crock pot.
*Meat may be broiled or fried before adding to the sauce. |
