SWEET AND SPICY SAUSAGE BALLS

1 lb hot or mild italian sausage, cut into 1 inch chunks
CHUTNEY SAUCE:
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
2/3 cup mayo
1/2 cup drained, chopped mango or peach chutney
3 tbsp minced green onion
1/4-1/3 tsp curry powder
salt and black pepper

Place sausage in a shallow baking pan or oven proof skillet.

Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all over. Drain sausage pieces on paper towel.
To prepare sauce, in a bowl, combine yogurt, mayo, chutney, onion and curry powder. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

To serve, insert cocktail picks into sausage. Serve sauce alongside.

Good served with fresh green pepper slices and celery stalks.

TIP:
Chutney sauce also goes well with hot breaded chicken or fish nuggets.
