Herbs and Spices Here is a recipe for homemade taco seasoning. It does have a lot of salt, but I have reduced it to 1 Teaspoon of salt and it still is great

5 TEASPOONS PAPRIKA
4 1/2 TEASPOONS GROUND CUMIN
3 TEASPOON ONION POWDER
2 1/2 TEASPOONS GARLIC POWDER
1/8 TEASPOON CAYENNE PEPPER
3 TEASPOONS SALT
MIX WELL. STORE IN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER.
MAKES ABOUT 3 BATCHES
TO MAKE TACO MEAT:
MIX 7 3/4 TEASPOONS OF SEASONING WITH 1 POUND OF COOKED GROUND BEEF AND 2/3 TO 3/4 CUP OF WATER. BRING TO BOIL, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES UNCOVERED.
out a tablespoon and it is great.
