MAGIC LEMON FROSTING

1/4 cup Blue Bonnet Margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
1/2 can (about 2/3 cup) Borden Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 1/2 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice

In medium bowl, cream margarine and lemon rind. Gradually stir in half of sweetened condensed milk. Alternately stir in sugar and remaining condensed milk, beat till smooth. Gradually add lemon juice till frosting is of spreading consistency.

Makes 2 cups frosting OR enough to fill and frost a (8-inch) 2-layer cake
