My family also loves Hooters fried pickles. After trying several different batters, I have found what I think is the closest to Hooters. I used House Autry onion breader, found in the grocery store. They have different varities of breader, ex. pork, fish, but the onion works the best on pickles. Of course you need to slice your pickles thin, and then deep fry. Enjoy!
