BLACKBERRY THYME MARTINI

2 oz. Hendrick’s
3/4 oz. Apple Juice
1 bar spoon blueberry & thyme jam

Shake, double strain into a martini glass.
Garnish: with sprig of Thyme

To make Blueberry & Thyme Jam:
Heat sugar and water till sugar dissolves. Add 4 segments of orange and 3-4 leaves of fresh thyme.

Place blueberries in separate saucepan with 20ml balsamic vinegar, heat and stir for 10 mins.

Finally mix the two together in a mixing bowl, and store.


Substitute blueberry for raspberry in the following recipes:

SPARKLING RASPBERRY THYME

Makes 1 drink

Glassware: martini glass
2 sprigs fresh thyme
2 ounces (1/4 cup) Raspberry Pre-Mix (see related recipe)
1 to 11/2 ounces Champagne or pale pink sparkling wine, such as a blanc de noir
Garnish: fresh thyme sprig

Drop 2 sprigs thyme into a cocktail shaker; then fill with ice. Add pre-mix. Cap the shaker, and shake until very cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Add Champagne. Garnish with a thyme sprig.

STRAWBERRY THYME MARTINI

Ingredients and Preparation:
1 whole Strawberry
3 sprigs of Thyme
Squeeze (1/4-1/2 oz.) of Agave Syrup
*Muddle*
Add ice
2 oz. Hendrick's gin

Splash of Soda Water (or a variation uses Rhubarb DRY Soda)
Shake for 10 full seconds
Strain through fine mesh strainer
Garnish with sprig of thyme.
