Recipe(tried): Breakfast Bars for Dianne
Breakfast and Brunch Have been making this for about 20 years! They are really good and also healthy. Hope it helps you out. It's also very easy! Yummy!
BREAKFAST BARS
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 Tbs. canola oil
1 cup quick rolled oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup wheat germ
Mix all together and press into a buttered 9x9" pan. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes for crunchy bars. and 10 minutes for chewy bars.
Note: I have sometimes used chocolate chips in place of raisins. Have also used both in the same recipe. It is always well received!
