GARLIC BREAD
"Inspired by a Bake-Off 20 Winner."
1 package Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix 3/4 cup warm water 1 egg FOR THE FILLING: 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon instant minced onion 2 to 3 teaspoons garlic salt 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon paprika 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing dough)
Grease a (9x5 or 8x4-inch) loaf pan.
In large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast from hot roll mix in warm water. Stir in egg and hot roll mix. Cover; let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, 30 to 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine all Filling ingredients, except butter.
On well-floured surface, toss dough until no longer sticky. Roll out dough to a 12x7-inch rectangle. Brush with part of the melted butter. Sprinkle all but 1 tablespoon of Filling over dough.
Starting with shorter side, roll up tightly, sealing dough with heels of hands after each roll. Place loaf in pan; brush with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with remaining Filling. Cover; let rise again, 30 to 45 minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 to 35 minutes, until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove.
