COUNTRY SUNSHINE CORNMEAL LOAVES4 cups cornmeal
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp, salt
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted (or vegetable oil)
4 cups buttermilk or sour milk
Mix dry ingredients. Stir in butter and buttermilk. Mix together well. Pour batter into two greased 9x5-inch loaf pans.
Let stand 15 minutes, than bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.
