PUMPKIN BREAD
4 cups sifted flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups pumpkin puree 1 cup milk 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup softened butter 2 cups chopped pecans
Sift together first six ingredients; set aside.
Combine pumpkin, sugar, milk and eggs in mixing bowl. Add dry ingredients and butter, mix until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in well greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350 degree F oven for 45-55 minutes.
