I found this on the net, supposedly a version made in Canada. It is almost like my mother's pecan pies.
BUTTER TARTS
1 cup brown sugar 2 large eggs 1/2 cup toasted, chopped pecans or raisins 1/3 cup butter 1/4 cup light cream 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
Mix thoroughly and pour in 12 (4 inch) tart shells. Bake. |
