Recipe(tried): French Silk Pie
Misc.1 9inch pie shell, cooked and cooled
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 square (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate (melted and cooled)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
In small bowl cream butter; gradually add sugar. Cream until light. Blend in chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each addition on medium speed with electric mixer (this is the MOST IMPORTANT part of the recipe--when you beat the eggs for that period of time, it makes the pie VERY creamy). Turn into prebaked pie shell. Chill several hours, or until set. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
