Recipe(tried): Baked Spring Roll (tried and my opinion)
Appetizers and Snacks i just want to share my recent experience of baked spring rolls with you.
i made some spring rolls lately and i decided to save some for "baking". there were 6 and they were frozen and not precooked (any part of the ingredients.) the result were 6 very hard and dry spring rolls that were not browned evenly. (i did turn them from time to time during baking.) and the taste was just horrible. it didn't taste like the fried ones from the same batch at all. (the 6 rolls were only frozen over night so i doubt it's because they weren't fresh.) i managed to eat one but had to toss the rest to the trash can. i am sorry but i have to say that i will never bake another spring roll again. i will stick to the old deep-frying method. not as "healthy" but surely tastes much better.
