FROZEN FRUIT MEDLEY

1 (3 oz.) package Jell-O Gelatin, any flavor
Dash of salt
1 cup boiling water
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 envelope Dream Whip® Whipped Topping Mix
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 medium banana, diced
1/2 cup seeded halved Tokay grapes
1/4 cup diced maraschino cherries
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Drain pineapple, measuring syrup and adding water to make 1/2 cup. Stir liquid and lemon juice into gelatin.

Chill until slightly thickened. (Consistency of unbeaten egg whites - about 1 hour and 15 minutes.)

Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on envelope. Mix with mayonnaise, fruits, and nuts until blended. Then, blend into slightly thickened gelatin. Spoon into 8x4-inch loaf pan. Freeze until firm.

TO SERVE:
Unmold; let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before slicing. Garnish as desired.

Makes 8 to 10 servings
