TANGY DEEP-DISH PIZZA
1 (1-lb.) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 (16-oz.) can tomatoes 1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste 1/3 cup (1 1/2 oz.) Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese 1 teaspoon oregano leaves 1 teaspoon basil leaves 1 teaspoon fennel seed 2 pkgs. (6-oz. each) Kraft Mozzarella Cheese Slices Additional parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
On lightly floured surface, allow dough to stand at room temperature for 1 hour,
Brown meat; drain.
Add onion; cook until tender.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, parmesan cheese and seasonings; simmer 15 minutes.
Roll out dough to 15 x 11-inch rectangle: press onto bottom and 1 inch up sides of greased 13 x 9-inch pan, Cover with half of mozzarella cheese and meat sauce; repeat with remaining mozzarella cheese and meat sauce.
Bake at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese, if desired. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
