CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE

1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup light Karo corn syrup
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 unbaked pie shell

Mix well all ingredients except nuts.

Sprinkle nuts on bottom of unbaked pie shell in even distribution.

Pour in filling mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes.

Makes 1 pie
