HERB POPOVERS

2 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Generously grease six (6-ounce) custard cups.

Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl. Beat in remaining ingredients with hand beater just until smooth (do not over- beat). Fill custard cups about 1/2 full.

Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake 25 minutes longer or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cups. Serve hot.

Makes 6 popovers
