FUDGY BUTTERSCOTCH ICING1 cup dark brown sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 tablespoons evaporated milk
Pinch salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Place brown sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil, stirring continuously, for 3 minutes.
Remove the pan from the stove and add the baking powder and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer 5 minutes, or until thickened. Immediately drizzle over cake.
