CREAMETTES MACARONI STROGANOFF
1 (7 oz.) package Creamettes macaroni (2 cups dry) 1 pound ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 1 (10-oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/2 teaspoon beau monde seasoning (optional) 1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper (or ground black pepper) 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (or salt) 1 cup dairy sour cream 2 tablespoons cooking sherry, if desired 1 (17-oz.) can sweet peas. drained
Cook Creamettes according to package directions.
Combine ground beef, onion and seasonings; if desired, shape into 16 meat balls.
Brown meat balls in small amount of vegetable shortening.
Stir in soup; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in sour cream, sherry, Creamettes and peas. Pour into a 2 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.
