Recipe(tried): Asian Nachos Grand Lux (copycat recipe)
Appetizers and SnacksI have made this recipe multiple times and love it. I add the beans to top instead of making rice and beans. Let me know what you think.
ASIAN NACHOS GRAND LUX
(copycat recipe)
5 chicken breasts
1 package wonton wrappers
1 (32 oz.) bag grated mozzarella
Chopped green onion (for a garnish)
FOR THE SAUCE:
3/4 cup soy sauce (I mix regular and light)
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
3/4 cup water
6 Tablespoons sugar
6 Tablespoons Sweet Chili sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons Sesame Seed
1 (16 oz.) can black beans (drained)
Squeeze of lime
FOR SERVING:
Wasabi sauce
Cook chicken thoroughly.
Fry wontons in oil until brown and crunchy; set aside.
Combine all sauce ingredients in pot and heat until ketchup like texture.
Arrange wontons on baking sheet. Top wontons (in this order so wontons aren't soggy) with chicken, cheese, beans, sauce, and chopped green onions. (You can drizzle sauce on after cooked to maintain crispiness).
Bake in oven at 275 degrees F until cheese is melted.
Drizzle wasabi sauce on top to taste.
Serves 10 people
