Recipe: Great American Cookie Company's Chewy Pecan Cookies (copycat recipe)

GREAT AMERICAN COOKIE COMPANY'S CHEWY PECAN COOKIES

1/2 cup shortening
1 1/3 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into 2-inch balls and place on an lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 9-11 minutes.

Be careful these things are addictive!
