Recipe: Green Noodle and Ham Casserole (using ground ham, cottage cheese, and sour cream)

GREEN NOODLE AND HAM CASSEROLE

4 ounces uncooked green noodles
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 egg lightly beaten
1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
dash Tabasco Sauce
1 pound ground cooked ham

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a shallow baking dish.

Cook noodles according to package directions.

Melt butter and in it saute onion and garlic until tender.

Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan Cheese, eggs, Worcestershire Sauce, salt, pepper, and Tabasco Sauce. Mix well. Add onion mixture, ham and drained noodles. Mix lightly. Place in prepared baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes.
