Recipe: Pomegranate Roasted Apples (with butter and honey)

POMEGRANATE ROASTED APPLES



8 Golden Delicious apples
1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter (cut into small cubes), plus additional for greasing pan
8 tablespoon honey
8 tablespoons pomegranate syrup
2 fresh pomegranates (seeds)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a roasting pan.

Clean the apples but do not peel. Core and remove all seeds. Lay the apples in the prepared pan.

Put a spoonful of butter in the middle of each apple, add a spoonful of honey, a spoonful of pomegranate syrup and some pomegranate seeds.

Bake for 10 minutes. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings
